Introducing the new Tow-Pro Elite 12
Globally, millions of products are reliant on semiconductor chips, and with production and supply issues brought on by COVID-19, there aren’t enough to meet industry demand. While at the same time, Australians have been looking inwards for their holidays, leading to an increase in demand for 4WD, caravan and off-road products, of which REDARC is a key supplier of.
A large benefit of local manufacturing is the ability to be agile in the face of adversity. To ensure that there is no disruption to supply of Tow-Pro Elite to our valued customers, REDARC are releasing a dedicated 12 volt only variant of our market-leading Tow-Pro Elite V3. This version will be available to meet short term demand before component supply resumes and we can continue to supply the fully featured The new Tow-Pro Elite 12 (EBRH-ACCV3-12) has the same key features as the Tow-Pro Elite but limited to 12-volt applications. The Tow-Pro Elite 12 features an RJ45 connector and cable for the remote head in place of the previous Molex connector. While REDARC have had to undertake these small changes, the user experience with the new Tow-Pro Elite 12 will remain the same as the existing Tow-Pro Elite. The changing of connectors will mean a slight change for installers.
The new Tow-Pro Elite 12 will be shipping to our distribution network from the 18th October, ensuring that there is no disruption to Tow-Pro supply in the market. As supply of the components resumes in the new year, we will be able begin to resume the supply the fully featured Tow-Pro Elite V3 back into the market.
